How much email do you have in your inbox? Each message is part of your personal backlog and constitutes debt. We will explore the concept of technical debt on agile projects from deliberate large debts incurred to the debt of 1000 cuts from a huge backlog of defects. We will also explore the concept of debt in other areas of our agile projects and apply agile and lean concepts to deal with debt.

About the Speaker
Brad Pollen has over 25 years of experience in a wide variety of technologies and systems from large public facing Web 2.0 internet projects to small intranet and desktop applications. He has worked as a Program/Project manager on projects ranging from the F107 Cruise Missile Fuel Control to commercial shrink wrap software. He currently works on agile projects at SpiderLogic. He is married, has three sons, and regularly rides his bicycle to work.
