I drove 1 1/2 hours, and just made it in time to hear the speaker and attend my first Agile meeting. I was extremelly impressed by the quality of the speaker and his presentation. Great Job. -

Presenters gave a good description of their journey into Agile/scrum. Being candid about the positives and negative was appreciated. -
This was an excellent get together. It is always enriching to learn about a success story, where they outline their pain points and how they managed to successfully overcome it. The presenters did a very good job of presenting their success story and offering suggestions to others.

November Jam session was very insightful and lots of knowledge sharing. I found it very useful to interact with like minded people and discuss issues and potential solutions. It is an excellent opportunity for participants to get into detailed discussions on technologies, process and practice.

This is about the 4th or 5th Milwaukee Agile meeting. As I am more of an Agile "neophyte" still, I felt that this is the only one so far that did not provide any value. The presentation was done well, except I felt that the content was centered around the effort of keeping Agile a "deep, dark secret" with an edge of "us against management/project management" mentality. I typically fill a project manager or program manager role in my consulting assignments. While I did not take the references personally, it was disappointing to sense that there was a clear lack of understanding of what project management and management, in general, prioritizes. Maybe I am not typical, if the presentation's depiction of PM is what the Agile world sees, but I know that I require and encourage upfront and honest information exchanges and updates with my team -- even if I am not fully knowledgeable of a technology or approach that is being discussed.

Great thoughts and points. I have experienced many of them first-hand. Also, an informative group discussion afterwards. That seems to indicate that the presentation was thought provoking.

It was an excellent topic, and a well prepared, inspiring speaker. I bought his book and made my own personal kanban at my desk the next morning at work.

The presenter, Jim, got me thinking out of the box and interested in learning more about Kanban and how it can applied. He did dance around some questions a bit, but had to work within time restrictions as well... Great presentation. -

It was great session on Kanban 101. He has used Very simple real life case studies which we all can relate to. Thanks to Tim and the organizers for arranging this session. -
Excellent presentation. The points were well-organized, and the examples from the project trenches deepened my understanding of the topic. Presenter was engaging, passionate, and personable. A valuable experience! -
A simple approach focused on creating value that respects everyone involved using their input for continuous improvement. Very cool.

Excellent presentation! -
Jason's talk was great. Having already read a lot of the source material, the talk pulled everything together in a cohesive way. Seeing the bigger picture helped solidify some of the topics I've been thinking about lately. I'm really glad I went. -
Good stuff but I would like to see more activities to illustrate some of these principles in the future -
