Hey again! :) I think what's important right now is getting people involved (signing up for the meetup) and getting the basics of the meetup structured (will the be presenters, fixed topics, open forums, etc.) I think we'll be able to get a lot of that done in the first meetup. You've been a part of a lot of different groups/meetups so any thoughts from you about what the best approach to take would be helpful. Thanks again Todd!

Hey Todd! Thanks for joining! We've met in person a few times already as our interests obviously overlap. :) I've had a couple offers for locations already, but I'm waiting to see if Independence First will have a room for us. As far as what's needed... the basics. Chairs, easy parking, on a bus route, centrally located, etc. I'm not sure if I'll use a fixed location or rotate around (fixed is probably better as we get started).

Hey Todd, is there a location like a UWM open conference room that we can reserve on a regular basis? I would promote a Downtown Milwaukee game session so you can feel the players or dms out to create a steady on-going game experience. I was at the UWM con and it was quiet and the table space was very good for D&D be it GammaWorld, 4e, or Pathfinder. I would post on the players looking for dms or dms looking for players message boards and let me know when you want this organized.

Todd - that sounds good, I have already contacted the producer he's quite interested in doing a show. However, I just recently learned that my uncle passed away and next week is the funeral. I may be hosting a few out of town family members. If I can defer to the first week in March - that would be appreciated. Actually - I just had a thought. I have been invited to be a reporter on Recruiter Earth - perhaps, I can get some publicity of this event, the Recruiter Earth is targeted towards recruiters, it may help some of our job seekers. Can you tell me more about the potential audience for the event?
